Na tarde do último domingo, 3, o Secretário de município do Cassino, Sandro Boka, divulgou em suas redes sociais que deixará o seu cargo na cidade para constituir a sua pré-candidatura a deputado federal pelo partido do MDB nas eleições de 2022.

No vídeo postado, Boka comentou que a sua motivação para tomar essa decisão foi definida pela necessidade do município do tamanho do Rio Grande ter um representante em Brasília. Na publicação ele diz, “Hoje estou deixando a secretaria para assumir a pré-candidatura a deputado federal. Esse não é um projeto do Boka, mas um projeto para nossa cidade. As grandes decisões que impactam na vida dos riograndinos são tomadas em Brasília, e precisamos de um representante lá”.

O secretário também destacou alguns projetos que realizou no Cassino, a partir do Cassino 4 estações, se desenvolveu as Ondas de Natal, o Acampamento Farroupilha, o paisagismo em toda extensão da Avenida, a construção da Praça Multidiversidade, além da manutenção de diversas ruas do balneário.
