Foi informado pela Prefeitura do Rio Grande que a Secretaria de Zeladoria conseguiu gerar uma economia de aproximadamente R$ 1,5 milhão aos cofres do município com o investimento na recuperação de viaturas e máquinas pesadas usando a própria equipe e estrutura. Com investimento equivalente a 10% deste total, já foram revitalizados equipamentos e veículos necessários para ações de manutenção da cidade e, que agora, não precisam ser comprados.

Neste primeiro semestre de 2022, a Secretaria concluiu, também, a recuperação de um dos ônibus de transporte de colaboradores, entregue na última sexta-feira, 3, junto com a patrola Caterpillar, o caminhão caçamba e a caminhonete para serviços de iluminação. 

A equipe da secretaria também já recuperou outros equipamentos tais como caminhões-pipa, tratores, tanques reservatórios, uma prancha para transporte pesado e realizou reparos em outros veículos que estavam parados ou com problemas.
