Foram transportadas do Porto do Rio Grande para o Parque Eólico do Bolaxa as três pás que serão utilizadas na reposição de unidades danificadas em razão da queda de um raio. Os equipamentos, com 47 metros de comprimento e 8,6 toneladas cada um, chegaram ao município no navio BBC Raise vindos de Avilés, na Espanha.
A logística de transporte das peças obedece a seguinte ordem: as peças são colocadas em uma carreta extensiva com o auxílio de duas empilhadeiras leves e de uma Reach Stacker, espécie de empilhadeira de serviços pesados capaz de erguer até 45 toneladas. O trajeto teve duração de três horas e caminhão se movimenta a uma velocidade máxima de 40 km/h.
