A obra de pavimentação da Estrada da praia em São José do Norte está com 60% de seu trecho já calçado e com meio-fio implantado. No total, 550m da estrada da Praia serão pavimentados, totalizando um custo de R$ 611.135,67. 

A Prefeitura do município vizinho investiu R$372.385,67 em recursos financeiros para a realização da pavimentação desta estrada. A outra parte do valor da obra será paga por meio de emenda parlamentar cedida pelo deputado Henrique Fontana, no valor de R$238.750,00. 

Esta obra de pavimentação é uma realização a prefeitura municipal, em parceria com as Secretarias de Coordenação e Planejamento, responsável pelo projeto, e a Secretaria de Obras e Urbanismo. A empresa contratada, Rosilaine Paiva Ponte Construtora, está realizando os serviços no local.
