Na tarde da última segunda-feira, 6, o programa de entrevistas Café com Z recebeu o médico psiquiatra, Fernando Uberti, diretor geral do Sindicato Médico do Rio grande do Sul (Simers) e o diretor do Sindicato Médico do Rio Grande, Marco Antônio. Na entrevista, foi falado sobre a frente composta por uma série de entidades do município e do estado, que visa uma unidade em torno da defesa da Santa Casa do Rio Grande. 

A instituição de saúde é centenária no município e, atualmente, vive um momento delicado financeiramente. De acordo com o presidente da Santa Casa, Renato Silveira, no momento possuem uma dívida que supera os R$300 milhões e um défict orçamentário mensal de R$2 milhões. 

Na conversa, o diretor geral do Simers comenta, "Pela gravidade e dimensão do problema financeiro que a Santa Casa do Rio Grande enfrenta, é necessário uma discussão ampla para que seja desenvolvido estratégias efetivas para que o Sindicato possa possibilitar sustentabilidade financeira, emergencial e estrutural para a Santa Casa. Sssim, essa frente estadual foi arquitetada para que se tenha mais aproximação e articulação institucional", explica Fernando sobre o trabalho que é realizado.
