No sábado, dia 14 de maio, aconteceu a etapa final do concurso Miss Brasil Golden Fashion 2022 em Campo Grande/MS. A Miss Bruna Braga Mattos participou do concurso, e escolheu representar o município de São José do Norte. Na etapa final do evento, Bruna ganhou o título “Miss Brasil Gold Fashion - pré teen 2022”.

 No mês de fevereiro, a Miss Bruna esteve no Gabinete da Prefeita acompanhada de sua mãe, Verônica Braga, e da secretária Municipal de Turismo, Esporte e Lazer, Daiane Pereira. Durante a visita, a prefeita municipal Fabiany Zogbi Roig e o vice-prefeito Neromar Guimarães, realizaram o Ato de Aclamação da Miss. 

 Nascida em Rio Grande, ela escolheu representar o município de São José do Norte, no concurso, pelo grande carinho que possui pela cidade e pelo vínculo familiar. Bruna conta que grande parte da sua família é de origem nortense, motivo pelo qual visita a cidade com grande frequência. Também, desde a infância, sempre foi muito próxima de seu avô que era natural e morador do município e acabou por falecer no último ano. Ela relata que seu avô tinha o sonho de vê-la representando São José do Norte em algum concurso, sonho este que foi concretizado com muito orgulho.
