A colheita da soja foi retomada no Estado e apresentou significativo aumento desde a última semana. O índice elevou-se de 38% para 55% da área cultivada, conforme aponta o Informativo Conjuntural, produzido e divulgado na quarta-feira, 20, pelas gerências de Planejamento e de Comunicação da Emater/RS-Ascar, vinculada à Secretaria da Agricultura, Pecuária e Desenvolvimento Rural (Seapdr). Outros 34% da área cultivada estão em maturação, 10% em enchimento de grãos e apenas 1% restante em floração.

No período houve intensa atividade nas lavouras, embora a menor estatura de plantas e vagens inseridas muito próximas ao solo tenha demandado a realização do corte com mais cuidados e com máquinas em velocidade de trabalho mais lenta do que a normal, aumentando o tempo para a operação.

Com o avanço da colheita, também melhorou a produtividade. No entanto, a expectativa atual ainda é mantida pouco abaixo de 1.500 kg/ha, na média estadual, com perdas acumuladas próximas a 55% em relação à projeção inicial.
